good morning Trojans ankle billing Guerrero in this is your Wednesday broadcast for we discuss things that matter to you because it matters to you is what matters to us independent make me spend a lot of time at home because of that it is important to find ways to exercise most of the time you're sitting at a desk or laying on the couch so it's a pretty good idea to get up and move around to help us do that we have Mysteries all done this is Nita and mr. Terrell from the physical vacation apartment to show us at home workouts now you miss Eric Zelda are there anybody my name is mr. X daughter from the PE department and with me today is going to be Miss Misa and this was Darrell and we're going to show you a simple high intensity interval training workout also called Hit routine that you can do at home okay so couple things about hit it's a great way to work out because it explains cardiovascular fitness and strength training today so think of it as killing two birds with one stone it's what we're going to do is when she demonstrate the exercises and then we're going to put it into a fitness routine of 30 seconds of work and 10 seconds of that all right five exercises that we're going to be going through today is body weighted exercises for the first time we're going to run through his jumping jack the next one is going to be a body weight an air squat after that it we have plank jump in and out Demi has hand release push ups I'm in the last exercise is going to be a Berkey hopefully you guys are in better shape than we are because we are huffing and puffing in that one so that was just one round of five exercises 30 seconds on and 10 seconds off you can be done with that workout right there or you can add more rounds and he can get creative with it maybe next time we'll show you guys a workout with equipment like dumbbells for right now to finish up mosquito is going to show you couple of slides of Stockton statistics in regard to physical education did you know that one in three teens are inactive and do not get the daily recommendation of 30 minutes everyday that on average teen spend about set hours and 22 minutes on screen time not including homework or school work what if you are a regular physical activity participants it can help improve cardiorespiratory Fitness build strong bones and muscles control reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and reduce the risk of developing health conditions such as heart disease cancer type 2 diabetes high blood pressure osteoporosis I don't be telling you that's just something name overall from RP Department to you we just want to stay at commit2bfit take it away mr. Terrell you just want to encourage you guys just because we're in lockdown and doesn't mean that the game extra pounds to make sure that you guys are saying Act staying fit and healthy boosting your immune system try new things during this time so I pray not what I'm trying to learn how to surf so maybe you guys can all learn You activities that is of course if it's a government guidelines on Destiny I will see you guys coming back to school fit and in shape right take care demonstrating that workout just watching it when next week will be joining message to Ralph and health that's all for today have a spectacular Wednesday and stay safe Trojans
