Virtual Commencement: Class Song and Cap & Gown Photo
As Mililani High School prepares for the virtual commencement ceremony there are a couple of opportunities that we want to share with you:
PHOTO used in ceremony:
We wanted to inform you that we are using the banners displayed outside our campus to be shown on screen for the reading of the names. If you’d like your that photo replaced with a photo of you in your cap and gown during the diploma name reading, you are invited to send us one. Otherwise the portrait on your banner displayed outside of Mililani High School will be used. All photos must be sent to this specific email account in order to be included, so please pay close attention to the address!
If you would like a photo of you in your cap and gown to be displayed during the virtual ceremony, please follow these steps. Again, we are only allowing you to switch your photo to one of you in your Cap and Gown if you wish.

The virtual ceremony will contain all of the elements of a Commencement ceremony, and we invite you to share with family and friends from across the island or on the mainland to tune in on Sunday, May 17 at 7pm on the Mililani High TV YouTube channel to share in your accomplishment.
CLASS SONG
Be a part of the signing of the class song for your virtual commencement! We are also collecting clips of seniors singing, lipsyncing, and/ or jamming out to the class song, Goodtimes Together, by Cecilio & Kapono.
Here are the options to send in a clip of you - -
SINGING to the song in your cap & gown
LIP SYNCing to the song in your cap & gown
DANCING to the song in your cap & gown
Shaka-ing (for multiple seconds or a photo) in your cap & gown
Throwing of your cap (wear your gown)
On April 16, Superintendent Kishimoto announced that high school graduations would not be happening in the traditional way and school principals would have the latitude to plan an alternative event, on graduation day, that adheres to strict safety protocols.
Seniors, please know that we are committed to giving you a unique and wonderful send off. Stay tuned as we will make an announcement about the details in the coming days.
We do have exciting news to share with you! We will be distributing cap and gowns and other Jostens orders on Friday, April 24 at Mililani High. Distribution will take place between 9-11:30am based on the Senior’s last digit of their student ID number. This drive thru pick-up will allow us to practice safe social distancing and you will NOT need to leave your car! Cars will pull in through the H-Building lot and be directed to their designated pick-up station. You must bring an ID. Only students or parent/official guardians may pick up their order.
If you are uncomfortable with this arrangement, cannot make it on this day, have a fever, or are not feeling well on that day; please stay home. We will have alternate arrangements made at a later date.
An email with additional information such as specific pick-up times will be forthcoming to members of the Senior Class.
