take what is full of me let me slow it down ain't it funny how it changes how the future be a branches I get nervous it is Friday February 28th and we have periods 2 3 4 5 and 6 and 7 and unit 237 p.m. students speaker sessions are back again in the College and Career Center check out our website for a list of visiting organizations February visitors include Washington State University Air Force ROTC Northern Arizona University and uh hero a special next steps presentation for students accepted to Washington state will be held on Tuesday February 25th if you're interested in attending any of our speaker sessions visit the college and through your website to sign up Once Upon a Time at Milani High a tell us all this time was coming by on April 12th 2025 it all convened at Hilton wine Village a ballroom Serene they saved the day and found their Bays but tuxes dresses and lays charts of flutter the night June and a chance at evening of love and cheer so mark your calendars don't forget a night of magic you won't regret April 12th 2025 don't be late Hilton wine Village save the date Be Our Guest and find you happily ever after hey everyone we're back with our ticket seriously focused on sleep deprivation and time management today we're wondering how can students balance school work extracurriculars and social life without sacrificing sleep let's go interview some seniors to share some tips and tricks with you about time management how do you manage your time uh well I managed my time by like on my assignments and homework in class in my grade 5 because I've studied all as I have to juggle a baseball and work I like to do all of my homework and my school work before I get to practice so when I come home from practice I um I do my working class or uh before practice or anything like that uh I manage my time by making a list of what I need to do for school what I need to do for like home activities family activities uh outside activities and then I have a calendar that I share with my parents so I can see like all my events and needs need to do my family and I have a calendar in our living room that we use to plan our events and then and then usually in the mornings when I first wake up I plan what I'm going to do in the day and see what homework that I might have to do during the night those are some great responses from our seniors here are some other tips and tricks to help you manage your time first prioritize your tasks use a planner or calendar to stay organized break big projects into smaller steps and set realistic deadlines create time blocks for studying activities and self-care and don't forget to take breaks minimize distractions stay consistent and learn to say no when you're overwhelmed reflect adjust and don't hesitate to seek help from teachers counselors or resources around you you got got this do you ever find yourself with some leftover change and hungry for some sweet treats well we have a solution presenting our third annual entrepreneurial pop-up at the snack sale located at the library lawn we will the selling items like M&M brownies pretty Pebble Rice Krispies Ilona and much more come support your meilani entrepreneurs and get some good food on Wednesday March 5th during lunches A and B good morning Trojans why do some students choose to do multiple Sports at the Trojan times we'll be speaking with some multisport athletes to learn more okay what's your name Ethan what grade are you in 12 what sports do you do I do cross country swimming and track oh what's your main sport whatever sport that I'm doing why do you do all of them I just I just love to compete like when we have in Palm season like like it's so fun to practice every day and compete almost every other week thank you I'm Oakley I'm Sydney what grade are you guys doing I'm a junior I'm a senior what sports do you guys do swimming and water polo what are you guys' main sports swimming how come you guys do both we do both because the Sports compliment each other we enjoy it a lot and it keeps us active thank you what's your name Patrick you also what grade are you in what sports do you do why do you do both I kind of wanted to just compete already thank you what's your name Kaitlyn what grade even um 10th grade what sports do you do um cross country swimming and track oh why do you do all of them um I do swimming cuz my sister's in it um but I want to cross train so I don't get injured and I like to meet new people thank you thank today's lunch is turkey corn dogs and tomorrow's breakfast is French toast sticks we
