The Senate is comprised of one student representative from each Advisory class. Students discuss school-wide events and serve as a vehicle for discussion on school-wide initiatives and change. Senators are responsible for reporting any Senate/ASMHS announcements during every advisory class that follows the senate meeting. They can also bring for discussion any questions and concerns they may have on behalf of their advisory class to be discussed at the senate.
The position of senator is not one to be taken lightly. As a student representative, the senator has the opportunity to voice for positive change on campus, and is a position that can be used on their resume.
Note: All Senators are required to have their ID at all senate meetings.
For the 2020-2021 School Year:
Senate meetings will be held virtually, once a month on Mondays at 2pm. A link will be sent to Senators to join the meeting prior to the meeting date.
On Wednesday, Aug. 26, advisory classes are to determine who will serve as their Senate Representative and Alternate. Advisory teachers will email the Senator application to the students that are selected.
Senators: If you do not receive the link from your teacher, please email your advisory teacher or [email protected] for help.
