Library Overview

The mission of the school library instructional program is:

1) to support and enhance the school's curriculum by providing quality resources and services;
2) to teach students the information skills they need to become independent lifelong learners; 
3) to promote reading and the love of literature; 
4) to foster curiosity and creativity in our students, and
5) to ensure equity of learning opportunities for all students.

Hours: 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Congratulations to the WINNING ENTRIES of the Library's Comic Book Character Art Contest!

In the Computer-Designed category, the top 3 entries were: 1. Ryley Agsalda; 2. Kyle Borromeo; 3. Maya Kaneshiro. The top 2 entries from each category will be displayed at the public library beginning May 6, Free Comic Book Day. March is WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH! Feminists, are you up to a challenged? Stop by the library to do a scavenger hunt on our WHM display! Give your completed form to a librarian hand your name will be placed in a drawing for a Barnes and Noble gift card! Then borrow a book to learn more about valiant female leaders who worked to make change possible.
 
February is BLACK HISTORY MONTH! Stop by the library to check out our BHM bulletin board display! Fill out a form and give it to a librarian a treat! Then borrow a book to learn more about the civil rights movement and the people who worked to make change possible.
